Exhibition of Contemporary Ceramics
The Exhibit “FRA-M MINDS: contemporary ceramics”; originates from the desire of proposing a reflection on the social-cultural context, more fragmented than ever, thus fostering an opportunity of meeting and thought.
The idea took shape with the “Setteincreta” Group; formed by nine artists-ceramists Association Small potters Scomigo.
The exhibition, with the side events, aims at becoming a container (installation “thinking circuit”) where to meet again and share a public space and a time of reflection and exchange.
The Initiative, which is held in the historic church of St. Ursula in Conegliano from 14 May to 12 June 2016, consists of five rooms and three courtyards, faced by solo and group works by the invited artists.
Through the works, the creative act has shaped the clay, proposing us a path for research and study. The meaning of the experience of being in relationship with themselves and part of a “thinking” community is explored.
